Located south of Moravia, this large girder bridge crosses 243rd Avenue.
Built in 1929, this bridge features a single skewed through girder span, set onto timber substructures. In addition, the bridge also features a steel stringer span on either side.
Bridges like this were common to carry the railroad over roads, as they were durable and were easy to construct. It appears that this road may have also been an original alignment of Iowa Highway 5.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with some minor deterioration.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
